Risk Engineer - Warwick/Hybrid - £43,250 to £54,859

We're looking for a Risk Engineer to join our gas construction team to manage and develop project risk profiles and be accountable for the development of the risk strategy and methodology. You'll work with project teams to establish the project scope and identify gaps in the available information that's essential for project cost estimation and risk. 

 

You'll challenge the available detail and obtain the relevant missing information to develop the assumptions, track progress and manage the relevant governance reviews and sign-offs. 

 

This position will report directly to the Senior Risk Engineer. You'll collate and input data/information and assist with risk workshops for gas construction projects. Interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role as you'll be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Risk experience is essential, ideally in a utilities industry. You'll need to have the ability to interpret technical and cost information. It would also be great if you understand engineering terms and have sound analytical and technical data skills. Construction experience and knowledge is also required for this role.

 

As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You'll need to be able to travel into the Warwick office approx. 2-3 times a week.
