Project Supervisor - UK Wide (Home Start) - £43,250 to £54,859 + Company Car

As a Project Supervisor you'll enact the role of Engineers Representative on behalf of the client across multiple construction sites to ensure that the site-based construction activities across National Gas delivered on time and to budget.

You will ensure that the Principal Contractor (PC) is pro-active in discharging their duties under the CDM regulations, not least in managing all safety aspects of the construction based activities. As such you will facilitate  regular site safety walks, holding coordination meetings, ensuring that access/egress to the site is controlled and maintaining of a site log/diary.

Chair regular (weekly) Site Progress Meetings with all National Gas Contractors and issue minutes of these meetings promptly advising the Project Engineer of any programme risks. Review the suitability of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

To be successful in this role you'll have a valid UK driving licence as you'll be traveling on a daily basis to site with regularly overnight stays. You will have worked with NEC4 contracts previously, a good knowledge of CDM regulations and know the difference between SCO 91 and 94.

Whilst coming from a project background within construction or engineering is advantageous, someone who is currently an Electrical and/or Instrumentation Technician who wants to take that next level we would strongly encourage to apply with a lot of the work being on Telemetry equipment.
