Senior Area Operations Manager - Angus - Up to £70,000 + Company Car

Do you have a track record of leading, managing and inspiring a team of skilled Engineers and Technicians while delivering fantastic results with zero compromise on safety to deliver the nation's energy.
 
As a Senior Area Ops Manager, you’ll manage an area within Scotland and the North of the UK. You’ll be responsible for the operation of the National Gas Transmission System in the area and ensure efficient delivery of world-class safety, drive accountability, manage budgets, lead and develop a team, and drive performance and compliance.
 
Reporting into the Head of Scotland and North region as a part of the leadership team you will be given autonomy to shape your team and the support you need to succeed and develop your own skills and knowledge in a varied, interesting and fast paced environment.
 
As you’ll be leading a team of up to 15 Engineers, Technicians and Operatives, leadership skills are obviously key for this role. Your team will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, project delivery and emergency response for compressors, pipelines and above ground installation assets. 
 
You don’t necessarily need a background in gas, any engineering or technical leadership can make you successful in this role. You’ll be covering a relatively large region and no doubt you’ll want to get out and meet everyone, so a willingness to travel and be away overnight on occasion is essential – all travel expenses are covered by the company.
