Regulatory Finance Partner
Warwick, GB, CV34 6DA
Regulatory Finance Partner, Regulatory Accountant, Regulatory Finance Analyst. Regulatory professionals go by many names, but you probably want to know what’s really involved.
You`ll work with Ofgem to correctly derive our allowed revenues of over a 1-billion-pounds a year and support the delivery of the Ofgem regulatory forecasting and performance reporting processes.
Sound like a big job? That’s why you`ll love it.
As the Regulatory Finance Partner, you`ll provide regulatory advice and training to Finance and the wider business. You`ll engage with Ofgem to ensure all financial aspects of the RIIO contracts are correctly enacted. You`ll update the Price Control Financial Model to forecast revenue accordingly. Through all of this, you’ll be the go-to person for all questions about how Ofgem will respond, so you’ll need to build great relationships both internally and with your counterparts at Ofgem.
Previous regulatory experience isn’t required, however, it’s essential you have great stakeholder management experience and a finance background. You should be analytical and pay attention to the details; as far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing well. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
You don’t need to be fully qualified, but we would expect you to be advancing through your qualification studies - and we’re happy to support you with education fees.
If this feels like you, take a peek at the perks below:
- A bonus based on personal and company performance
- 25 days’ holiday plus statutory holidays
- A pension scheme where we double match your contribution (maximum Company contribution of 12%)
- A flexible benefit scheme where you can opt into a whole host of lifestyle options
- Access to employee support, care, and assistance helplines
This is a hybrid role. You’ll be looking at 1-2 days in our Warwick office per week. I’m happy to chat about suitable arrangements around you if required.
We are National Gas, including National Gas Transmission and National Gas Metering.
In February 2023 we became a standalone business, to maintain and own the Gas Infrastructure in the UK. But more than that, to develop and grow this infrastructure to set us up for a cleaner energy future. A future of Hydrogen.
It’s never been a more exciting time to work in Gas. Join us as we transition the UK and guide the rest of the world to cleaner sources of energy.
If this feels like the sort of opportunity for you, please don’t hesitate to apply today.
We’ll respond to every single application.
