National Grid is hiring a Project Manager. This position is be based in either Waltham, Massachusetts or Brooklyn, New York.
About The Role
At National Grid, our Corporate Affairs team is dedicated to protecting and enhancing our reputation across the UK and US territories. We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Head of Systems, Frameworks & Digital Transformation in developing and managing systems and processes that ensure data quality and effective management.
In this role, you will translate colleagues’ requirements into actionable deliverables for our Systems, Frameworks & Digital Transformation and Research, Insights & Performance teams. You will focus on data, technology, frameworks, and training, providing ongoing support to ensure solutions remain effective.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data and technology, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
As a key player supporting the Head of Systems, Frameworks & Digital Transformation, you will help shape the future of our Corporate Affairs function. Your role will involve:
- Data Management: Become our Subject Matter Expert (SME) on stakeholder data, ensuring data quality and effective management practices.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate with the Research, Insights & Performance team to create insightful dashboards and reports that drive strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Support the development and administration of our stakeholder management platform, enhancing our engagement processes.
- Technology Integration: Work with colleagues to identify and implement innovative technologies that boost communication and collaboration.
- Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to elevate digital and data literacy within the Corporate Affairs team.
- Relationship Management: Help establish frameworks for managing key external relationships, queries, and complaints with consistency and rigor.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented but also possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You should have:
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- A knack for listening to and synthesizing requirements into actionable solutions.
- Experience working with large datasets and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to navigate challenges and influence stakeholders.
- A keen interest in the latest technological developments, including AI, related to Corporate Affairs.
Salary
$102K - $120K a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
