Interview

The process can differ by role but typically you’ll have a video or In person interview with two members of the team for a chat about you, the role, and your background along with some formal questions.

Whole Energy System refers to the intricate network of processes, infrastructure, technologies, markets and resources involved in the generation, transmission, distribution, storage and consumption of energy across residential, commercial, industrial and transport sectors.

Holistic Thinking is the ability to join the dots and connect the seemingly unconnected, non-linear, or complex parts together in a meaningful way. It means broader thinking with an understanding of the bigger picture and the relationships between parts, to avoid siloed thinking.

What will happen after we have made you an offer and before you start?​

You’re making the decision about whether we’re a good match, and we know that decision can give you a lot to think about. Starting a new job can be a lot to take in. That’s why we’re giving you an insight into what to expect once you’ve accepted the offer (we’d be delighted if you do!) ​

1. Welcome energiser.​

We want to make sure you’ve got everything to hit the ground running and integrate into our culture. We believe in a workplace that supports you in excelling professionally and personally. To help you settle into your new work environment, you’ll receive our welcome energiser; including a notepad, pen and a link to order more personalised items, so that once you’ve settled in and have a better idea of what you need, you can give your workspace a boost.

2. Your induction.​

Your induction will be arranged beforehand. If possible, we will welcome you to one of our offices and you’ll get to network with other new joiners and some established colleagues who will come and tell you more about the business.​

3. NESO onboarding.​

We’ll keep in contact throughout the onboarding process, and we’ll make sure that you have all necessary information to complete this in time for your day 1. ​

4. Feedback​
