Global Inspire
Inspire is our social equity and mobility ERG and focuses on the range of social economic barriers and challenges that many people face. We provide development, networking opportunities and promote inclusion as we believe that your parent’s job and income, your educational level, school you attended, accent, or where you are from should not impact the opportunities available to you or your chance of success.
WiNG
Women in National Grid (WiNG) aims to attract and create a network of diverse talent to enable us to deliver our strategic priorities to ensure the future stays bright.
We offer training and development, mentoring, allyship, women's health initiatives, and a focus on pipeline, whilst looking to highlight the opportunities within the energy industry to help more women in their career in the energy sector.
We bring the best ideas to the table, to accelerate change and support National Grid in its ambition to become one of the most diverse, equitable and inclusive companies of the 21st century.
Newnet
Helping new colleagues’ network and understand what we offer.
When starting a new role in a new company it can be quite daunting, here you can gain insights into how we operate, understand learning and development pathways, and the opportunity to network. Ultimately helping colleagues to shape their career.
Global VERG (Veterans)
Our global Veterans ERG vision is to promote diversity and inclusion by providing opportunities for growth and professional development of Military veterans within National Grid.
We also provide overarching support to charitable organisations within our local regions. The group adds values to the company, our members and the communities they serve.
Global WiNTR (Women in Non Traditional Roles)
Women in Non-Traditional roles ERG aims to engage, support and advocate for women who hold non-traditional (STEM) roles within National Grid, and to increase awareness and attract more women to these roles.
Our goal is to strengthen and empower colleagues to capture the career of their choosing. We believe that character and skill, not gender should be the driving force for career advancement.
