We are focused on finding ways to decarbonise and build the energy systems of tomorrow; from bringing innovative technology to market that change the way homes and businesses use energy to building links that allow the UK to share clean energy with our neighbours in Europe.

  • What we do in procurement

    At the heart of National Grid is the Global Procurement function, responsible for managing the supply chain, commercial strategy, sourcing and contracts for over £4 billion worth of works, goods and services worldwide each year. This includes everything from building the infrastructure required for delivering net zero to ensuring our teams have access to digital devices, transportation and PPE.
    This portfolio creates huge opportunities for individuals with creativity, commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively with supply chain partners and stakeholders to drive new thinking and create value.

  • What we do in procurement

We have a strong team of around 300 colleagues, broadly evenly split between the UK and US. We're actively striving to attract talented individuals from all backgrounds and recognise the value a diverse team can bring.
