National Grid is hiring an Early Careers Recruiter - Apprentices to join our Global Early Careers team on a 12 month FTC.
As a Recruiter within the Early Careers team, you get to be part of helping National Grid find critical early talent and to help us accomplish our key mission to bring energy to life. You’ll use your excellent stakeholder management skills to partner with the business to source, attract, select and recruit high quality candidates, while enhancing our employer brand. You’ll deliver on recruiting for our UK Apprentice Programmes including both Higher Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships across our business functions.

This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.
Please note as the role includes some travel we require candidates to have a full UK driving licence.
What you'll do
- Facilitate the Apprentice Programme hiring process, serving as a main point of contact for all candidate engagement including: posting of requisitions, sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting assessments, coordinating and facilitating Assessment Centres, extending offers and completing onboarding processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to create dynamic job descriptions and understand the skills and abilities required for the roles to enable development of strong candidate pools
- Create, plan, and lead networking events, virtual panels and information sessions, career fairs, etc. to assist in building diverse candidate pipelines
- Proactively source and engage with diverse talent to build relationships with prospective candidates, sharing information about the company, programme & position, and providing a superior candidate experience
- Fully understand National Grid’s Vision, Business Model, Employee Value Proposition, benefits, and total rewards philosophy to engage candidates and brand National Grid as an employer of choice for apprentice talent
What you'll need
- Experience within Recruitment/Talent Acquisition, strong preference for candidates with experience recruiting for apprentice roles
- Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail & follow up and exceptional time management
- This role requires driving and as such a valid driver’s license is required
It would be awesome if you had;

- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Exposure to or use of Success factors
Interviews
Interviews will be conducted via teams on 29th July.
What you'll get
A competitive salary between £48,374 - £57,000 – dependent on capability.
