National Grid is hiring an Analyst of Business Compliance in Melville, NY
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations

 

Job Purpose

 

National Grid is seeking a dynamic and Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of compliance-focused projects. This role will involve managing initiatives across multiple areas, including the development of engaging videos, social media campaigns, and compliance assessments, identifying deficiencies, ensuring adherence to compliance procedures, and driving projects that enhance regulatory compliance and organizational efficiency.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop, plan and execute compliance assessments based on documented process.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation.
  • Engage with department leadership and compliance champions to identify past material weaknesses and/or superior process efficiencies within their compliance performance to share step changes in the organization’s compliance culture
  • Advocate outcomes and recommendations to cross-functional audiences through varying media channels, written reports and oral presentations
  • Provide oversight support to key compliance stakeholders to support the delivery of critical audit materials and programs to help alleviate fines and penalties affecting the organization’s bottom line
  • Support strategic initiatives to help achieve a compliance excellence culture 
  • Demonstrate accountability, ownership, critical thinking and innovation to help solve complex compliance and system wide issues

 

Qualifications

 

  • BS/BA preferred or 2 years experience
  • Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, written (documentation and reporting) and verbal skills.
  • Experience with Multimedia software ie Adobe Premier Pro, iMovie, CapCut
  • Ability to be flexible and agile to changing conditions.
  • Demonstrable commitment to integrity and ethical values.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance management prevailing practice, business processes
  • Technology experience, including data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus.

Salary
$87,000 - $102,000 a year 
Salary commensurate with location and experience

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
