Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Project Manager to support the Director of Program Management in driving a portfolio of initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within the NY Gas Business. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in managing cross-functional projects, and the ability to develop key performance indicators, perform analysis, and manage project plans. This role involves supporting the Director in reporting status to Senior Leaders, managing risk/issue logs, quantifying benefits, and building trackers for the results of the initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Director of Program Management in managing a portfolio of initiatives to support continuous improvement, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Drive the execution of initiatives within the portfolio, ensuring successful delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform detailed analysis to support decision-making and provide insights into project performance including performing root cause analysis, action plans and developing controls to sustain process changes.
- Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Maintain and update risk/issue logs, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Quantify the benefits of initiatives and build trackers to monitor and report on results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
- Provide change management and process improvement support to drive operational excellence and business value.
- Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and analyzing key performance indicators and performing detailed analysis.
- Change management and process improvement capability, with experience in driving transformational change initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci or other change management certifications preferred.

Salary
$137,000 - $161,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
