Job Purpose

The Lead Cyber Analyst will assist the Security function to input to regulatory submissions, ensuring alignment of Security business plans to regulatory frameworks ensuring agreement for future initiatives.
This involves:
• Preparation of cyber security submissions and reporting for RIIO, reviewing project outputs and benefits, risk alignment and future planning
• Creation of timely reports and position statements recording security team delivery and performance
• Initiating and effectively leading a wide group of internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrably leading a customer focused, dynamic and high performing Governance team to enable Security to perform effectively and efficiently. 

Key Accountabilities

• Act as lead coordinator for regulatory engagement
• Leading on assigned regulatory reporting submissions to ensure alignment of Security activities
• Preparation of materials for external meetings and review of deliverables for quality and consistency
• Supporting development of forward-looking investment plans
• Ensuring security strategy ambitions are deployed and adhered to
• Supporting report writing and investment paper development
• Coordinating with Security management team for regulatory and wider reporting. For instance, Executive and Board reporting
• Building change management and continuous improvement within the team, through sharing of best practice and developing the right tools and enablers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Typically 7 or more years of experience in position. Management is typically the next higher level. May require Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Contributes to the development of functional strategy. Operates with little or no supervision in a complex environment.
• Works under consultative direction toward long range objectives; determines and pursues course to achieve results.
• Frequently explains information to others who use it to advise and negotiate at higher organizational levels. Maintains occasional external contact with counterparts within and external to the industry .Positively influences others and gains their cooperation. Ability to modify practices and procedures to meet individual situations. Manages people and/or processes to meet operating goals and quality standards
