Job Purpose

The Manager Process and Performance will support the Electric Business Unit along its path of continuous improvement.  The expectations of this role include: coaching and challenging a diverse team, building relationships w/ the business, and completing some of the larger portfolio level process work forwards.  The work performed by this team supports the Electric Business Unit in the state of New York.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coaching and the challenging the team to deliver excellent results.
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization and leverage those relationships to improve overall department performance.
  • Support the team in delivering enhancements that provide tangible benefits for the business.
  • Provide support to the Director and act as a backup in their absence
  • This is a working leader role, larger transformational initiatives will require direct involvement

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and has the ability to deliver significant business results.
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels across the business.

Qualifications

  • Experienced leader who builds and maintains high performing teams
  • Passion for data and data enabled business process improvements
  • Experienced utilizing the lean six sigma skillset (Process Mapping, Critical Problem Solving, Data analysis, Solution Selection, Kaizen events, Mistake Proofing, Kanban applied digitally)
  • Good communicator
  • Expert consulting skills
  • Innate curiosity and desire to know more
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other data viz software to create data visualizations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience leading in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Experience driving an organization’s data and process maturity forward

 

More Information

Salary: $123,000 - $145,000

 

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
