We want to find an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Lead Project Manager for our IT US Group Functions teamThis position can be located in Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Hicksville, NY, or Syracuse, NY (candidates may also reside in either Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Maine). What you'll do

 

As a Lead Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and overseeing IT projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You'll plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Key responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage the department minor enhancements stream of work for SAP applications 
     

About you

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 8+ years of project management and related experience
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
  • Basic knowledge of the SAP suite of applications 
  • Knowledge and experience managing projects pertaining to SAP suite of applications including ECC, S4 HANA, GRC, SLT, BTP Integration Suite etc

Salary

Dowstate NY $147,000 - $173,000 a year

Massachusetts $138,000 - $162,000 a year

Upstate NY $122,000 - $144,000 a year

Salary is commensurate with experience and location

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
