About the Role

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager of financial analytics to join our Financial Data Reporting Office (FDRO). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and analytics function, leveraging data analytics to provide insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, HR, and others to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, dashboards, analytics, and data-driven insights.
 

What You'll Do

•    Lead and manage a team of Finance Reporting Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and support in their professional development. 
•    Formulate proposals for improvement and communicate the value of those proposals and recommended implementation plans to stakeholders.
•    Actively participate in Reporting & Analytics strategy sessions with team leadership.  Develop action plan to successfully implement this strategy with your team.
•    Act as trusted consultant to stakeholders across the business to understand their objectives and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.
•    Enable your team to collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on complex datasets across Finance and other internal organizations. Identify key trends and uncover root causes of data anomalies.
•    Tell a story using data. Translate data findings into meaningful and concise reporting content. Enable stakeholders to use this content to make informed business decisions.
•    Develop strong internal business partnerships across Finance and other orgs that consume financial data or KPI’s.
•    Partner with internal developers and FDRO Data Analytics team to utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from financial data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
•    Be vocal in proposing solutions based on best-practices, avoid manual or “offline” reporting solutions where possible.

 

What You'll Need

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
•    Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and data analytics, preferably in a managerial role. Track record of problem solving with data.
•    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
•    Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or other visualization tools.
•    Experience with financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
•    Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
•    Leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
•    Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Annual Salary

$137,000-$161,000
