Job Purpose

As a member of our newly created Agile Transformation Office (ATO), you will play an integral role transforming the way our IT organization delivers value to its customers. Your experience and expertise coaching teams on various Agile frameworks and concepts will enable you to pivot our teams from traditional project delivery methods to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Scrum and Kanban.

You are a strong and influential leader who collaborates naturally with others whatever their level in the organization.  You will leverage this skill to stamp your mark on all aspects of our transformational journey to ensure that our teams are ‘being Agile’ and not just ‘doing Agile’.

Key Accountabilities

You will be recognized as a leader and expert in Agile, (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban). Although this is an individual contributor role, teams will naturally gravitate to you for guidance.  As such, you will affect significant change without direct authority over the individuals with whom you interact.

You are pragmatic and have an innate ability to strike the balance between the need for process ‘Do it right’ versus the need to accelerate project delivery and not overburden teams with unnecessary administrative overhead.

  • Hands-on experience participating in and training Scrum/SAFe ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
  • Previous experience in a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Product Manager or Product Owner role.
  • Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD, BDD)
  • Strong understanding of Agile Metrics for Teams and Programs
  • Expert knowledge of JIRA or similar ALM tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, RTE or similar.
  • 5+ years hands on Agile coaching experience required.  Must have coached SAFe, Scrum and Kanban.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certified.
