Keeping Safety and Quality at the Heart of Our Electricity Network.

We’re looking for a Site Assurance Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of utility infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assuring the safety and quality of multi-million-pound Overhead Line (OHL) construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring our work meets the highest standards across a range of dynamic and challenging environments. While on site, you’ll review construction packs and ensure installations match manufacturer specifications, maintaining a proactive presence that helps our teams stay on track and in line with company procedures.

This role goes beyond inspections. You’ll support the SHEQ Manager by investigating incidents and near misses, identifying trends through data analysis, and compiling reports that inform and improve future performance. You’ll also play a vital role in communicating learning outcomes to site teams, responding to on-the-ground needs, and collaborating with other Assurance Engineers to drive continuous improvement.

•    Experience of QMS – Quality Management Systems.

•    Access to flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
•    Family care benefits including a back-up care service for when your usual care arrangements fall through (six paid days each year as standard with the option to purchase further days).
