About the role

Join us and be part of the largest overhaul of the electricity grid in generations.

 

As a Commercial Strategy Analyst, you'll work across a diverse range of high profile offshore infrastructure projects to connect more clean, low-carbon power to England and Wales.

 

You'll assist the commercial team in preparing research, delivery documents and business cases to advance the net zero project portfolio. You'll get involved in both developing and in-flight projects, having a real impact in shaping their delivery.

In this role you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. You'll be flexible to travelling to our Warwick office on a monthly basis and project sites as required.  We are open to full time and part time applicants including a job share, as well as flexible working arrangements.

Key accountabilities

  • Think strategically and apply your experience (preferably for energy infrastructure) of strategically framing options and developing strategic options and commercial strategy. 
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes. 
  • Support the offshore commercial teams with commercial strategy optioneering.
  • Scope key questions and transform them into an actionable work plan.

About you

What we do isn’t just important – it’s essential. That’s why we look to recruit experts in their field. In this case, we’re looking for someone who has: 

 

  • Experience of either strategy or commercial; ideally you'll have an understanding of a regulated environment, capital delivery and construction. 
  • Stakeholder management experience and ideally project management experience.
  • An analytical mindset with a passion for improving things.
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment.
  • Experience of building reports and producing analytics in Power BI would be an advantage.
  • A Driving Licence and the ability to travel.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £46,000 - £58,000 – dependent on capability.

 

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
