Join a cutting-edge Cyber Risk team focused on securing the future of operational technology. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in protecting high-voltage electricity transmission systems, bridging the gap between OT and IT with smart, secure network architecture.


You’ll dive deep into architecture reviews, ensure cyber interventions are effectively implemented, and drive the successful delivery of critical work streams across protection and control systems. Working closely with engineering partners and site teams, you’ll finalise and integrate conceptual designs into operational systems, while shaping the tools and processes that define our cyber resilience.


This role covers the full lifecycle — from setting and monitoring SLAs with major suppliers to building out incident response, recovery protocols, and long-term asset maintenance strategies. It’s hands-on, high-impact, and mission-critical.

Must haves:

•    A Numerate degree or the relevant experience in a project engineering environment.
•    Proven experience with Controls and Cyber – High Voltage Electricity Transmission.
•    Can evidence an understanding of IEC 62443 and IEC 62351.
•    Excellent communication and people skills.
•    Commercial acumen – Supplier agreements / SLAs.

Pay and Benefits

•    £51,899 to £65,000 pa depending on skills and experience + Paid Overtime.  
•    Job requirement company Car (Hybrid or full electric only) + paid travel.
•    37 hrs p/w Monday to Friday.
•    26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days.
