EPC Project Manager
GB
About the role
Great Britain's electricity infrastructure is undergoing an ambitious, exciting and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.
As part of our accelerated program supporting The Great Grid Upgrade, the largest overhaul of the electricity grid in generations, we have an exciting opportunity for an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Project Manager to join our team to work on either of these projects:
Chesterfield to Willington: Development and delivery of a new 60km 400kV overhead line.
Brinsworth to High Marnham: Development and delivery of three new substations and associated overhead line upgrades.
The EPC Project Manager role is a key role - you'll be at the heart of these works, part of a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver the project safety, on time and to budget. You will be working closely with a talented team of planners, quantity surveyors, accountants, operational colleagues, and other specialists.
It’s a big ambition – in the next seven years, the UK will need to build five times more transmission infrastructure than it has built in the last 30 years, transforming the nation’s energy network to supply the whole country with more clean, affordable energy. That’s a job anyone can be proud of.
In this role you can enjoy our hybrid working from office, site and home. Chesterfield is the nearest office location and you'll be flexible to travel to the office and sites around Chesterfield approximately 3 days per week.
