We’re seeking an accomplished Engineer and Team Leader to drive the success of our Oil Management Unit (OMU), delivering vital operations that keep the electricity transmission network running reliably.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a skilled team of 10 professionals, including LGV drivers, plant operatives, and waste treatment specialists. You’ll be responsible for managing complex oil handling projects within substation environments, ensuring high standards of safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance. You’ll create a cohesive team culture, inspire performance, and maintain compliance with waste permits, Technically Competent Manager (TCM) requirements, and WAMITAB qualifications.

 

We’re looking for a qualified Engineer with proven leadership experience and a track record of delivering projects safely and effectively. Requirements:

  • Min HNC engineering qualification
  • Waste Treatment experience
  • NEBOSH – General cert
  • Experience of leading a team

Desirable

  • L4 Certificate of Technical Competence in Waste Management

Pay and Benefits

•             A starting salary of £58,830 to £61,740 pa including allowance + Paid overtime + Company Car

•             37 Hours per week Mon – Fri, occasional weekend work
