As a Project Engineer, you'll deliver the C&I project management programme for our Grain Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal. You'll provide technical support and detailed reporting on the delivery of capital investments within the expanding terminal. 

 

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the continued safe and reliable operation of Grain LNG’s assets through the efficient delivery of project program activities in line with the sites COMAH requirements. 

 

This role is based on-site at our world-class facility in North Kent, Europe’s largest importation terminal.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage and co-ordinate C&I project works with minimal disruption to the terminal. 
  • Ensure compliance with National Grid’s policies, SHES standards, Health & Safety, Environmental legislation and CDM regulations. 
  • Lead commissioning and performance testing process on site, ensuring the provision of accurate ‘as built’ documentation at completion and handover. 

About you

  • Project and programme management skills – ability to deliver changes effectively within a complex organisation / programme or project.
  • Experience of managing the resources needed to deliver the requirement of specialist projects.
  • Complex stakeholder management, influencing, and engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of COMAH, safe control of operations, Health Safety and Environment regulations, current industry standards.
  • Good technical understanding of Control & Instrumentation is desirable.

  • A competitive salary of £49,000 to £62,000 - dependent on capability.
