We are seeking two, dedicated Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Manager's. 

One Manager to be based within Central Regions, Another to be based in London / Kent.

 

These roles will ensure that projects within a designated geographical region operate to the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from development to completion.

•    Extensive understanding of Safety and Environmental legislation and practices relating to Construction and thorough knowledge of CDM Regulations with relation to Client & PC duties 

•    Experience of multi-disciplined construction projects working to deadlines in a commercial environment and awareness of contract management 

 

Interpersonal, Supervisory or Management

 

•    Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

•    A drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and experience of change management

•    Motivates others through own example

•    Personally committed to finding new ways of working in conjunction with others to achieve business goals

•    Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills

•    Experience of working with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders 

 

 

Technical or Specialist

 

•    NEBOSH Dip Essential

•    Proven experience in managing SHE standards within a project environment.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
•    Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience

•    Current driving licence

What you'll do

 

•    Support the safe delivery of Strategic Infrastructure Projects on behalf of the Senior Onshore SHE Manager to cost, time and oversee and implement SHE management practices across all projects within the region.

•    Continuously monitor and audit safety, health, and environmental standards to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

•    Collaborate with Clients, Partners, and the supply chain to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

•    Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

•    Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of SHE standards among project teams.

•    Prepare and maintain documentation related to SHE performance, incidents, and audits.

•    Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest level of SHE management.
 

What you'll get

 

A competitive salary between £64,000 - £72,000  dependent on capability.


As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
