About the role

 

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for support the management and operations of PPMO ( Portfolio Performance Management Office ) team.

 

Within this role, you will act as an advisory partner to the PPMO Leadership Team. The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the management and operations of PPMO team, they will drive forward key initiatives and support in the management and development of the function.
 

This role provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and high performing individual to deliver key outputs that will positively impact the operations of a growing PPMO team.

What you'll do

  • Team Management - Support the SLG with team management, driving forward the agendas and optimising performance of our people.
  • Team Engagement – Support the SLG with understanding and addressing issues identified through engagement measures such as Grid Voice.
  • Team Collaboration – Support the SLG with the identification of shared objectives and initiating collaboration opportunities to increase efficacy and reduce duplication of effort.
  • Strategic Support - Support the SLG with developing a structured plan to implement key priorities.
  • Performance Management - Collate and manage performance metrics; identify process improvements opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
  • Team Development - Identify team development and training opportunities; develop and run training interventions.
  • Budget Management - Work with the SLG to manage budgets and oversee resourcing, ensuring that goals and financial plans are being met. 
  • Strategic Projects - Lead on special projects as opportunities arise.

What you'll get

 

A competitive salary up to £70,000 – dependent on capability.


As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
