How do you revolutionise cyber security considering affordability and reliability?
You’ll join the National Grid’s Cyber Design Assurance Team who are responsible for the implementation of highly technical Operational Technology (OT) systems for National Grid Electricity Transmission. We make happen the solutions that will protect a radically different Energy system and electricity network to meet the challenges of the future.
Your key outputs are to lead on the delivery of specification, design and implementation of cyber security related requirements associated with high voltage transmission Protection and Control schemes. Cultivate effective communication skills, including the ability to engage with multi-disciplined teams and audiences. Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders.

Must haves
• You’ll have a numerate degree or demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering project environment.
• You can demonstrate advanced knowledge of international standards related to cyber security including IEC62443 and IEC62351.
• You’ll have significant experience of project work specifically in the Operational Technology sphere with an expert understanding of cyber security requirements, utility or process industry operations and procedures and a working knowledge of the test and commissioning process.
• The ability to apply cyber hardening techniques and a strong understanding of the Cyber Assurance Framework (CAF) and Network and Information Systems Regulations (NIS) requirements and the implementational impact on the OT environment.
• You will be comfortable with regular travel to UK based supplier locations for project work.
Pay and Benefits
• £60,000 to £71,000 pa + Excellent Benefits Package + Training and Development.
• + Market supplement of £3,000 pa
• 26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days.
