About the role

The Enterprise Architect will develop and verify that the IT and digital strategy is aligned with the business entity’s strategy and mission by analysing business properties as well as the external environment and define all business needs.

 

This role will have the most overarching technical view of the business entity and knowledge of its capabilities and potentials, identifying business needs in context with external factors like competitors and internal factors like a company’s IT landscape. 

 

This role is a key member of the global enterprise architecture communities of practice and competence. This role will ensure that the right enterprise infrastructure is created while the new products, platforms and technologies meet all business standards and are in line with the company’s integrity, all while solving their own challenges.
 

What you'll do

  • Strategic Planning - creating and maintaining a strategy to align organisational actions, plans and resources with business objectives
  • Sets policies, standards, and guidelines for how the organisation conducts strategy development and planning.
  • Leads and manages the creation or review of a strategy that meets the requirements of the business.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with others on the promotion, acquisition, development, and implementation of information systems and services.
  • Enterprise & Business Architecture - aligning an organisation’s technology strategy with its business mission, strategy, and processes and documenting this using architectural models.
  • Directs the development of enterprise-wide architecture and processes to embed the strategic application of change in the management of the organisation.
  • Directs the creation and review of an enterprise capability strategy to support the strategic requirements of the business. Identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies.
  • Ensures compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards and practices.

What you'll have

  • Experience of leading Enterprise Architecture for a large organization, providing technology and digital leadership including strategic and financial assessment and alignment.
  • Experience of working in regulated industries and organizations.
  • Can successfully operate at Executive level, forming strong relationships and engagement as needed across all levels of the Business Entity
  • Knowledge and experience of both Information and Operational Technology, including their convergence and security
  • Experience of IT strategic technology and digital investment ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities
