An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis! As our FP&A Reporting Manager, you will be leading the delivery of financial reporting and analysis by business partnering key stakeholders across our portfolio of businesses; you’ll bring their stories together by presenting key trends and results to executive teams.

 

You will be responsible for delivering monthly management reporting to the Group and NGV executive teams, while project managing processes across NGV to develop annual operating budgets and associated KPIs, providing valuable finance and business insights. Additionally, you will support financial forecasts and strategic business plans, collaborating with the portfolio’s finance and partnering teams to create a consolidated view of NGV and present a cohesive narrative.

 

This role is based out of Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You'll Do

  • Monthly Management Reporting: run smooth, high-quality monthly reporting to Group and the NGV Exec team, bringing insight and analysis to add value and support decisions. Requires partnering accounting counterparts within the Controllership to ensure proper tie-in between record to report and plan to perform processes (i.e. bridge from actuals to budget/forecast)
  • Monthly Business Reviews: Provide finance inputs to MBRs and help shape overall content and focus areas.
  • Ad hoc analysis and support: This is an innovative team looking to leverage new tools and technology to bring further insight from analysis.  A key priority is to better use tools and technology to deliver value.
  • Other activities: Support NGV Finance-wide projects and priorities as they arise, including annual performance plans and Green Financing.
  • Team leadership and development: support in the curation of a highly motivated and capable team, developing talent and a performance management culture that drives value through engagement.

What You'll Have

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc).
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. The ability to summarise complex transactions, weighing up all the relevant factors, such as how transactions impact other areas of the business to senior management and in formal board papers.
  • Budgeting and long-term financial planning.
  • Strong Financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • IFRS accounting.
  • Process implementation and monitoring
  • Effective business partnerships.
  • Experience in collaborating and engaging teams across departments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Financial or management accounting qualification.
  • Proven record of finance or leadership experience, including financial management and organisational budgeting.
  • Broad range of financial, management and business modelling experience.
