As an Operational Technology (OT) Services Network Management Centre (NMC) Analyst, you’ll play a key role, working alongside other Analysts and Network engineers to triage operational, project and security issues to support, configure and deploy solutions, ensuring that operational and security integrity is always maintained.
Helping to shape, develop and enhance the stability of the NMC infrastructure and services, you’ll focus on tasks such as routine upgrades and managing BAU incidents. You’ll be required to monitor dashboards and identify potential service affecting issues via the Network Management Systems and assist with creating reports on the status of the network and driving continuous service improvements.
You’ll monitor and support the performance and availability of the OT Network Infrastructure, utilising network management tools to detect and respond to network incidents and vulnerabilities, making sure new processes and procedures are created working towards industry best practice and frameworks.
You’ll follow and manage incidents and change requests in accordance to Service Level Agreements and carry out escalations when required.
You will work closely with Field Engineers, Risk Management Analysts, and Cyber Security teams to provide collaborative working and deliver best in class service for our customers.
You will be based at our offices in Warwick up to 5 days per week but there maybe an opportunity for hybrid/home working on occasions.
What you'll need
With a Level 4 (eg. HNC) or higher-level qualification or equivalent experience in cyber security, networking or an engineering related discipline, you’ll have experience of working in a network or security operations centre, ideally with a background in engineering or cyber security.
You’ll have experience of working in a technical environment within a large corporation managing network assets and devices, and you’ll have a methodical and positive approach to problem-solving with excellent organisation and planning skills.
Experience of service recovery, particularly in stressful and pressured environments, as well as experience of managing incidents and routine maintenance activity is key, as are good communication and interpersonal skills.
You’ll have experience with network management tools, coupled with an awareness of cyber security principles. In addition, you’ll be an excellent team player who can prioritise workload independently.
Experience with following process and procedures, identifying opportunities for service improvements and assisting with new process creation are also key.
