National Grid is hiring a Operational Performance & Standard Reporting Lead. This position can be based at NG House, Warwick.

As the Operational Performance & Standard Reporting Lead, you will spearhead the implementation and delivery of a brand-new Performance Reporting capability. You will engage with multiple HR and system leads to rationalise and compile a complex set of stakeholder requirements. Your innovative mindset will help you design and deploy Performance Reporting technologies that provide timely, actionable insights to support HR operations and strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Lead a new team of three senior analysts in delivering and maturing Performance Reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and Business Support leadership teams, front-line Help Desk, Payroll, and HR Centres of Excellence to understand their reporting needs.
- Design and build Performance Reporting products that measure process health across various service lines, including Data Quality, Help Desk, Recruitment & Onboarding, and more.
- Provide real-time actionable insights and macro-level reporting for leadership discussions.
- Analyse root causes and drivers in Performance metrics to drive positive process change.
- Apply innovative data visualisations and communications to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
About You
- Experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, with advanced technical expertise in Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Proven ability to combine and manipulate large, complex data sets from enterprise data platforms and HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, WorkDay, ServiceNow).
- Strong understanding of HR and Business Support processes, including ticketing, help desk, recruitment, DEI, and performance management.
- Experience in developing Performance Reporting solutions, scorecards, dashboards, and insights.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and explain analytics to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.

What You'll Do
- Competitive Salary: circa £46,000 – £54,000 per annum (dependent on location, capability, and experience).

This role is offered on a permenant basis.
We are also offering hybrid /flexible working where travel to the office will be as per business need. Base location for this role will be NG House, Warwick.
