National Grid is hiring a Busienss Change Manager. This position can is based at NG House, Warwick.
Job Purpose
As a Change Manager, you will work closely with partners across our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) to manage the people side of change. This includes overseeing changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures. Your mission will be to ensure that these changes are smoothly and successfully embedded across EBS.
What You'll Do
- Change Strategy and Case for Change: Develop and implement effective change management strategies that maximize employee adoption while minimizing resistance. Create actionable deliverables for key change management levers, including communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training, and resistance management plans.
- Communications and Engagement: Craft a comprehensive communications strategy that informs and engages stakeholders about the change. Ensure messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with the overall change strategy.
- Business Readiness: Conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness. Identify key stakeholders and support the design and delivery of training programs to ensure the organization is prepared for change.
- Training and Capability Uplift: Collaborate on training efforts by providing input and supporting the design and delivery of training materials that align with the change management strategy.
- Business Adoption and Benefits Realisation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Change Governance and Planning: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives. Conduct readiness assessments to evaluate the impact of organizational change.
About You
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders, conducting readiness assessments to gauge the impact of change.
- Ability to Influence and Lead Change: Inspire and motivate others to achieve organizational goals, establishing trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Leadership & Vision: Articulate a clear vision for change and guide the organization towards achieving it.
- Communication and Engagement: Utilize effective communication skills to convey the need for change and engage stakeholders throughout the process.
- Organizational Change Management Experience: Familiarity with change management practices (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotter) to support agile working.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Understand how different stakeholder groups are impacted by changes and help them adapt to new ways of working.
- Growth Mindset & Curiosity: Embrace a growth mindset by learning about new change management methodologies and approaches.
What You'll Get
- Competitive Salary: circa £62,000 – £80,000 per annum (dependent on location, capability, and experience).
- Bonus: 15%

This role is offered on a permenant basis.
We are also offering hybrid /flexible working where travel to the office will be as per business need. Base location for this role will be NG House, Warwick.
