About the role

As a Senior Buyer, you’ll tackle our largest and most complex buying challenges, managing a portfolio of up to £100m. Big projects, big budgets, big ideas: this is an opportunity to lead the development of our growing commercial procurement operations. About you

What we do isn’t just important – it’s essential. That’s why we look to train and recruit current – or potential – experts in their field. In this case, we’re looking for someone who:

 

  • Has significant experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Has led a highly complex or valuable procurement event from start to finish.
  • Has developed high value category-specific strategies and led negotiations at a senior level.
  • Has handled multiple projects and a portfolio of suppliers.
  • Is MCIPS-qualified (or working towards this.)

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £37,000 – £47,000 – dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
