We’re looking for a passionate Senior ERP Security Consultant to join our ERP Security Team! You will provide expert ERP security knowledge and skills to the ERP security team supporting GRC12 access control issues, general maintenance, and configuration.  Also advising on general user access management, role administration and risk remediation activities.

 

This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

 

What You'll Do

  • Support the SAP security and authorization environment, ensuring comprehensive support for all security roles, profiles, Portal groups, and in-depth expertise in the Profile Generator within SAP systems.
  • Collaborate effectively within a global team that includes multiple third-party vendors.
  • Serve as the ERP Security representative on National Grid projects, ensuring ERP systems are integrated into project considerations while adhering to governance frameworks.
  • Manage daily business user support for GRC access request processing and SOX audit responsibilities.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors to facilitate the SOX control audit process.
  • Coordinate daily interactions with key business users to provide services, analyse data, and deliver relevant, up-to-date information to support decision-making and enhance National Grid's operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all system activities are fully auditable to maintain compliance and accountability.
  • Generate and present periodic reports to management and project teams.
  • Provide support for incidents related to ERP Security, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

What You'll Have

  • Excellent knowledge of SAP security concepts - authorisation objects, worked with PFCG for role maintenance and critical tables in SAP for user role details.
  • Ability to propose role design/role restructure changes resulting (propose new role definition/ create specific conflict free roles) in SOD conflict resolution.
  • Able to provide end-to-end remediation solutions (role restructuring/ access removal) or mitigation controls as part of SOD conflicts remediation.
  • Experienced to assess custom transaction code functionality and determine potential GRC risk library/ruleset update.
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC risk library/ruleset maintenance for any updates (functions/risks updated in rulebook)
  • Experienced working with different types of report in SAP GRC.
  • Proven track record of using SAP systems such as, GRC12, S4 HANA, Fiori, BW HANA, and BPC Icon, specifically in the security area.
  • Experience of Sox audits for access related controls.
  • An understanding of GRC12 configuration.
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills for analysing data.
  • Any experience of SailPoint, SuccessFactors, Concur, Coupa and C-series is useful but not mandatory.
